What You'll Do

• Ideate & Innovate: Translate innovative concepts into functional prototypes, focusing on emerging technologies. You'll contribute to shaping solutions that leverage new tech to enhance productivity, customer engagement, and operational efficiency across the bank. You'll have the opportunity to explore and build prototypes around exciting emerging trends, including autonomous agents, multimodal AI, and even quantum technology.

• Build & Experiment: Get hands-on with cutting-edge tools and platforms. You'll develop and test prototypes that can address real-world challenges and explore new opportunities in areas such as AI-driven financial analysis, personalized customer experiences, and automated workflows.

• Collaborate & Learn: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to bring prototypes to life. You'll contribute to an agile environment where continuous learning and knowledge sharing are paramount.

• Showcase & Inspire: Present your prototypes and their potential impact to various stakeholders, inspiring adoption and gathering feedback for iteration.

• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously research and experiment with new technologies and methodologies, ensuring DBS remains at the forefront of financial innovation. You'll explore how frontier tech can play a critical role in amplifying financial services efforts or uncovering new opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• A Passion for Innovation: You're naturally curious, love to challenge the status quo, and are excited by the prospect of building new things from the ground up.

• Technical Acumen: A foundational understanding or keen interest in emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, autonomous agents, multimodal AI, and their applications in real-world scenarios is crucial. Experience with prototyping tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++), and cloud platforms is a plus. For those interested in quantum technology, familiarity with quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) or a strong mathematical background is highly valued.
