About the Role:The Assistant Vice President “AVP” of Regional Wealth Management Operations will be a key driver in transforming and optimizing our Wealth Management Operations (WMO) processes across all DBS locations. This role is central to advancing the WMO strategy and Target Operating Model through expert change management and project delivery. The AVP will work closely with the SVP, Regional Wealth Management Operations and WMO Heads from various locations to standardize processes, enhance controls, and implement innovative solutions.Responsibilities:Lead and Drive Strategic Change Initiatives:
- Initiate, plan, execute, and deliver change management projects aimed at process automation, efficiency enhancements, and new operating model implementation within Wealth Management Operations regionally.
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies, including communication plans, stakeholder engagement, and training to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems across different locations.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall WMO strategy and Target Operating Model.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources for regional WMO projects
- Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions for process re-engineering and optimization.
- Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for project success and operational improvements, monitoring progress and reporting regularly to senior management.
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all regional locations.
- Actively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and operational control gaps in the projects
- Facilitate discussions and lead initiatives to resolve critical risk and control issues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and sharing best practices across locations.
- Ensure adherence to all operational policies, processes, and controls, ensuring consistency and compliance in the design of the processes
- Collaborate effectively with differents stakeholders, including front office, technology, risk, compliance, and local operations teams, to gather requirements, define project objectives, and ensure successful solution delivery.
- Develop and deliver training programs and support materials to end-users for new systems, processes, and changes introduced through projects.
- Degree Holder with 8 years of relevant project management experience in Wealth Management and Private Banking Operations
- Hands-on experience with Avaloq System will be of added advantage
- A keen eye for control and ability to sieve out key issues and root causes in various circumstances
- Strong control mindset, with an eye for details, ability to prepare/manage schedules to deliver under tight deadlines
- Experience working at an organisation going through an Agile transformation
- Be able to communicate the analytical findings, both in writing and verbally
- Decisive and solution focused, possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated demonstrating growth mindset with quest for learning new skills and techniques
- Experience in dashboarding tools like Tableau preferred with competency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
