AVP / Snr Assoc, Business Planning Manager, RMG Credit COO Office

Manage RMG Credit financial control, budgeting, forecasting, expense and headcount tracking, variance analysis, and strategic cost management. Provide project governance and support, coordinate BPM and BCM activities, monitor enhancement status and benefits realization, and support the Credit COO on credit projects and business operations.
Business Function
Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing the objective of maximising returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investment, and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure. Job Purpose: Responsible for managing business function requirements for RMG Credit, including acting as financial controller, providing project governance and support, and delivering other business support functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage, track, and ensure discipline and accountability in RMG Credit’s expense and headcount matters.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial requests from Credit heads and external stakeholders.
- Provide project governance and support for initiatives within RMG Credit.
- Participate in Credit-related projects.
- Reconcile and perform variance analysis on financials and proactively escalate possible issues to management.
- Work with coordinators and Finance to review variances on financials for monthly update to management.
- Monitor submissions for strategic cost management (SCM) initiatives, and work with coordinators and the SCM team to ensure SCM targets are
- Coordinate the annual forecast and budget exercise.
- Monitor and track enhancement status, including financials, work completed, and benefits realisation, and work with stakeholders to prepare materials for regular platform governance updates.
- Provide support to Credit COO for monitoring and tracking credit projects and related business functions.
Business Process Management (BPM)
- Own and coordinate BPM governance activities for Credit Control Unit (CCU), covering budget management, strategic cost management (SCM), business continuity management (BCM), Operational Risk, Occupancy management, and Gifts & Entertainment Governance.
- Drive end-to-end Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities as BCP Coordinator, ensuring continuity plans remain current, tested, and aligned with regulatory and organisational requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in the financial sector.
- Relevant working experience in accounting, statistics, data analytics, and/or project management.
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organise, and analyse significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
