We’re seeking an Analyst/Associate to join our AUD Rates Trading team in Singapore, supporting market-making, risk management and client activity across AUD rates products within the Asia Fixed Income franchise.

In the Fixed Income division, we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions.

The role will sit within Interest Rate Products and support trading activity across AUD rates markets, working closely with senior traders, sales, structuring, research and control partners.

What you’ll do in the role

  • Support senior traders in pricing, execution, hedging and risk management across AUD rates products.

  • Assist with market-making activity across relevant instruments, including interest rate swaps, OIS, cross-currency basis and related linear rates products.

  • Monitor market developments, client flows, central bank policy, macroeconomic data and curve dynamics to support trading decisions.

  • Help manage day-to-day trading risk, including position monitoring, trade booking, P&L review and escalation of issues as appropriate.

  • Partner with Sales, Structuring, Research, Risk, Finance and Operations to support client activity and ensure smooth execution across the trading lifecycle.

  • Contribute to desk analytics, trade idea generation, pricing tools, market commentary and process improvements.

  • Maintain strong discipline around controls, conduct, risk limits and regulatory expectations relevant to trading activity in Singapore and across the region.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Experience in rates trading, rates structuring, treasury markets, fixed income, macro trading or a related markets role.

  • Understanding of AUD rates markets and core products such as interest rate swaps, OIS, cross-currency basis and government bond-related instruments.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable trading support.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading floor environment with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.

  • Understanding of trading controls, risk management, operational processes and the importance of maintaining a strong control mindset.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across trading, sales, structuring and control functions.

  • Curiosity, commercial awareness and a strong interest in macro markets, central bank policy and rates market dynamics.

  • At least 2 –5 years of relevant experience
