Role Summary
- This pivotal position requires a strong blend of technical expertise in test hardware design & development, system integration, and validation methodologies, along with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- The ideal candidate will drive the design & development and implementation of comprehensive test hardware design and validation strategies, ensuring product quality, performance, and successful launch.
Responsibilities
- Lead a global engineering teams, defines test hardware technical roadmaps and oversees testing hardware (load boards, probe cards) and strategies for semiconductor products,
- focusing on First Time Right (FTR) silicon validation and high-volume manufacturing (HVM) readiness.
- Key responsibilities include managing risks, ensure design & delivery of quality hardware, and collaborating with other teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in hardware design & development, testing and validation, quality assurance and risk management with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in semiconductor test flows and SI/PI simulation on digital, mixed-signal, high speed, RF and mmWave. Experienced with Advantest 93K, Exascale, J750, UltraFlex, UltraFlex+, etc
- Proven track record of successfully leading test hardware design initiatives in a fast-paced semiconductor environment
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and drive hardware technology lifecycle planning
- Leadership Ability: Develop and drive team vision, strategy, and test hardware roadmaps for ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test development, aligning with company goals
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with BL Test Engineering and Operation
- Must know test HW suppliers
