About this role

Technology & Operations

Technology & Operations supports BlackRock’s unified approach to asset management by ensuring operational consistency, efficiency, and excellence across all regions, client channels, and investment products. With global teams and a diverse portfolio of offerings, operational rigor is essential to delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients.

As a key partner to investment and client‑facing teams, we manage the information and processes required throughout the end‑to‑end investment lifecycle. We also oversee interactions with external service providers, enabling BlackRock to optimize counterparty relationships and maintain high‑quality service standards.

Team Overview

As part of the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) team, the AV/Multimedia Operations team provides coordinated global design, deployment, and support services for multimedia technologies across BlackRock offices. The team operates under standardized global processes and design guidelines to deliver reliable, high‑quality user experiences while supporting the firm’s evolving collaboration needs.

Role Responsibility

Alongside supporting daily business operations and providing coverage for the APAC UCC Manager during leave, this role is responsible for planning and delivering complex multimedia events in executive and event spaces. The individual will work proactively with internal stakeholders, senior leaders, and event planners to ensure seamless delivery of multimedia requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, managing, and executing high‑profile multimedia events, including resource scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of AV technologies.

  • Maintaining strong working relationships with regional and global AV/Multimedia teams and relevant BlackRock departments.

  • Ensuring all required training and competencies for the role are kept current and proactively identifying any outstanding training needs.

  • Coordinating AV support and maintenance activities, independently or with third‑party vendors, to drive timely issue resolution.

  • Supporting multimedia system build‑outs, technology upgrades, and office relocation projects under the direction of the UCC Manager.

  • Performing administrative functions such as managing vendor invoices, processing purchase orders, tracking operational metrics, supporting contractor administration, and responding to client inquiries via email and phone.

  • Preparing management reports in written and statistical formats as required.
