We are seeking Associate Software Engineers who are passionate about building modern web applications and scalable backend services. While you may develop a specialization over time, you should be comfortable working across the full technology stack and collaborating closely with Design, AI, Data, and DevOps teams.

In this role, you will contribute to Razer’s AI gaming initiatives, specializing into different potential tracks of software engineering. These may include, but are not limited to, Cloud Services Engineering, AI Software Engineering, Full-Stack Development, and Site Reliability Engineering. Responsibilities will vary by specialization, as outlined below. A strong foundation in computer science, system design, and scalable architectures is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, or Angular, along with HTML and CSS.
• Design and implement clean, maintainable backend services using languages such as Node.js, Go, Python, or Java, including RESTful and gRPC APIs integrated with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Build and maintain identity, authentication, authorization, tenant management, and user access capabilities to enable secure enterprise access to multiple AI products through a centralized platform.
• Administer, monitor, and support cloud-scale production environments, including AI model APIs, backend services, and high-traffic web applications serving a global user base.
• Deploy, optimize, and operate AI/ML models in production using containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, with a focus on performance, accuracy, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and a solid computer science foundation, demonstrated through academic work, internships, or portfolio projects.
• Good understanding of core computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and modern software design principles.
• Ability to reason about technical trade-offs, performance, and scalability.
• An AI-assisted development mindset, with openness to using tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or Codex for coding, testing, and code review.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
