Sales Development Representative - Middle East & Africa
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our Sales Development team and kickstart or grow a career in IT Sales. In this role, you will generate and qualify leads across the Middle East and Africa, helping to build sales pipeline and directly contributing to Rapid7's international growth.
About the Team
The Sales Development team is responsible for building qualified pipeline for our Account Executives, playing a key role in revenue generation across the International business. The team has a strong track record of developing SDRs into high-performing Account Executives.
About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to generate and qualify sales leads for our Account Executives. Specifically, your focus will be to:
  • Qualify and develop outbound sales leads and respond to inbound product inquiries
  • Conduct research to identify new leads and build targeted outreach campaigns
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and convert interest into sales-accepted leads
  • Effectively articulate sales pitches and secure meetings for Account Executives
  • Track and manage communication with current and potential customers in our CRM
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on account strategy to build pipeline
  • Consistently achieve quarterly targets, including qualified lead and meeting quotas

The skills and qualities you'll bring include:
  • Fluent English and Arabic (French is a plus)
  • Effective listening skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Customer-facing experience in sales or service, either over the phone or face-to-face
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about IT Security products and services
  • High level of resilience and ability to bounce back from setbacks
  • Tenacity, drive, and competitiveness in a target-driven environment
