Job Description

Overview of role

Embark on a journey into cutting-edge research work, where you'll conduct pivotal experiments, analyze critical data, and ensure the integrity of results that drive innovation. Your team

Located at the P&G Singapore Innovation Center at Biopolis, you will report to a R&D Director or Senior Scientist Manager based locally and will be part of growing team of functional and technical experts in leading projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on experiments in the laboratory, including sample preparation, stability testing, analysis and statistical analysis
  • Transfer and optimize methods under coaching and produce reliable, reproducible results to meet project needs
  • Analyze experimental data using appropriate tools and statistical approaches
  • Document, compile and summarize experimental data from various experiments for review and interpretation together with manager/technical coach.
  • Communicate results and observations to manager/ technical coach and/or other team members, making  special note of unanticipated results and/or unexpected observations.
  • Conduct work according to QA principles and safe practices.
  • Develop  sufficient  skills to interface effectively with P&G systems, methods and equipment associated with the assignment/defined workscope.

Job Qualifications

  • Polytechnic Diploma in Science related fields
  • Relevant experience in life sciences or technology sectors, lab experience with independent method development and validation will be preferred.
  • Able to leverage on data analysis tools (e.g., Prism, Excel; Python/R and experience with automation or high-throughput systems is a plus.
  • Skills in data cleaning and transformation, organizing structured datasets
  • Strong ownership & self-leadership skills to understand the business objective, local context and business landscape to deliver the required outcomes
  • Effective oral and written communication skills is a must
  • Able to work independently, prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to use data to connect multiple ideas and develop solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people from different cultures and levels, both internally and externally
