JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design System Contribution & Learning
- Assist in maintaining and evolving our design system (typography, colour, spacing, motion, UI components).
- Support documentation efforts, including guidelines for visual language and component usage.
- Learn to work with engineering workflows and tools that bridge design to code (e.g., Storybook, Supernova, Git-based handoffs).
- Explore and apply AI-assisted design tools for prototyping, variant creation, or documentation.
Product Design & Prototyping
- Translate requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes under guidance from senior designers.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Participate in rapid prototyping and testing to refine ideas.
User Research & Experience Support
- Help conduct user research (interviews, usability tests, surveys, analytics reviews).
- Document findings and assist in turning insights into personas, journey maps, and design recommendations.
- Contribute to validation efforts such as A/B testing or user feedback analysis.
Collaboration, AI Exploration & Growth
- Work closely with senior designers, engineers, and product managers to understand product goals.
- Present your work in design reviews and be open to feedback and iteration.
- Stay curious about new tools and technologies, especially AI, and explore how they can improve workflows or user experiences.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and inclusivity.
