As an Associate Director, Technology, this position leads the Singapore Technology Accelerator (STA) and drives the strategic deployment of advanced automation, connectivity, and intelligent systems across Aftermarket Operations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping Pratt & Whitney’s transformation toward a high-performance, future-ready Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) network. You will spearhead technology development, champion operational excellence, and guide cross-functional teams in implementing innovative solutions that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

What You Will Do
  •  Transform Pratt & Whitney into a high-performance Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations based on Operational Excellence (OpX) principles and latest technology for automation, connectivity, and intelligence.

  • Lead the technology development and operations of the Singapore Technology Accelerator (STA) for technology insertion to APACT AMO sites.

  • Drive key strategic projects to support Aftermarket Operations (AMO) Technology goals and regional/sites growth in alignment to overall business objectives.

  • Collaborate with AMO sites for technology ideation and proof of concepts to identify improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, delivery and cost.

  • Lead the deployment of a common technology passport framework across AMO in alignment with the RTX lifecycle program management (RLPM) for technology projects execution and industrialization.

  • Direct the STA team to utilise the passport framework and industrial engineering concepts to scale read-across technologies to AMO sites.

  • Lead in the strategy planning, new technology capabilities and process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost reduction and operational performance.

  • Support a safety first work culture that exceeds safety performance goals and strives towards zero injuries.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable RTX and Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures including individual employee awareness of responsibility and accountability.

  • Demonstrate awareness of the businesses competitive position in relation to the representative market place, including macro factors and trends which influence overall business operations and execution.

  • Demonstrate ethical leadership and compliance.

  • Support diversity initiatives and all employee survey efforts and encouraging participation in the action planning teams.

  • Work collaboratively with all levels of management, personnel and customers, and have key skills in project management, general business, model/database building, and operational analytics. 

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technically related field or business.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in technology, engineering, operations management or program management.

  • Demonstrated success in technology deployment, operations management or capability implementation, preferably in the Aviation industry.

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills, critical thinking skills, business discernment, and ability to innovate.

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and demonstrated industry insight.

Qualifications We Prefer·    
  • Aviation and Aftermarket experience would be a big plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications is preferred.

  • PMP Accreditation and or LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt would be a plus.

  • Technical knowledge of Pratt & Whitney’s Engines Repair, PW Repair Centers, and PW Engine Services business is helpful.
