We are backed by Sequoia India and Softbank Ventures Asia Corp amongst many others and provides business financing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which is crowdfunded by individual and institutional investors. And here at Funding Societies | Modalku we live by our core values:

  • Serve with Obsession: Build win-win relationships for the long-term by having a customer obsession.

Ensure alignment with market practices and consistent implementation across the Group, with a focus on key areas such as operational risk, business continuity, and third-party risk management.
  • Conduct independent reviews and challenge risk control self-assessments (RCSA) and root cause analyses in collaboration with risk owners. Work closely with risk owners to design and enhance their processes, thereby strengthening the control environment based on risk assessments and other relevant risk events.
  • Oversee and support the operational risk incident reporting process, ensuring that risk owners promptly report, log, and escalate incidents. Coordinate investigations as necessary, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions and process improvements before incident closure.
  • Review and test the business resilience framework, providing support to Crisis Management teams. Collaborate with departments to ensure timely completion and thorough assessment of business impact analyses and business continuity plans.
  • Review and manage the third-party outsourcing/vendor governance framework, working closely with departments to ensure that operational risk assessments are comprehensively conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements for service arrangements.
  • Collaborate with other departments on risk-driven projects/initiatives, and actively participate in the development of new products and services to ensure that operational risk considerations are fully assessed and addressed.
