The Senior Business Analyst will analyze retail banking systems, gather and document requirements, perform data mapping and analysis, and support Agile delivery.
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Retail Banking (Data & Functional) Role Summary Senior Business Analyst (8+ years) with strong expertise in Retail Banking and data analysis, capable of bridging business requirements with functional design and data-driven implementation. Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, documentation (BRD/FSD), data mapping, and end-to-end testing support in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Business & Functional Analysis of retail banking systems across: (Cards ; Loans ; Collections ; Debt Restructuring ; Rewards ; Insurance; Investments) and create BRD & FSD Conduct Gap Analysis (current vs target state) and recommend functional changes Translate business requirements into clear functional flows and system behaviour 2. Data Analysis, Mapping & Profiling • Define data selection and transformation rules for downstream systems • Perform data mapping (source → target) for migration/integration • Conduct data profiling, validation, and reconciliation using SQL/Oracle • Identify data quality issues and propose cleansing strategies • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy 3. Agile Delivery & Product Lifecycle • Participate in product lifecycle activities: Backlog grooming ; Sprint planning ; Requirement prioritization • Create: User Stories ; Epics ; Acceptance Criteria • Ensure traceability from requirement → design → testing
