Business Function

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.

Responsibilities

Partnering across our Technology platforms, you will be responsible in managing financials for both Tech Platform Initiatives & Enhancements lifecycle which includes Business Cases. Contract Management Process (CMP), open/close PC codes, transfer of asset ownership, financial report and monitoring. Pro-active partnering role as a trusted financial advisor to the businesses to resolve strategic and operational challenges.

  • Support the implementation of process changes and the change agenda within the Technology Finance team

  • Preparation of financial performance reports and insightful commentaries to track and drive business performance and enable strategic and operational decisions

  • Conduct monthly review meetings with senior Platform stakeholders and Finance Leads

  • Performing month end close processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of our financials

  • Work closely with countries to review monthly financial performance, as well as investigate variances and identify business risks and opportunities.

  • Ownership and accountability for timeliness, data accuracy and process adaptation as needed in delivery of various Regional Reporting data sets and reports to various stakeholders.

  • Develop and put together cohesive presentations for internal and external forums. This will require active facilitation and teamwork across businesses and functional units.

  • Actively participate in the learning and sharing of best practices.

Requirements

  • Qualification & Experience- Experienced finance professional with min. 5 years of experience in banking technology finance

  • CA/CPA/ACCA qualified

  • Knowledge of products, processes, technology systems, and finance databases

  • Solid business acumen with deep expertise in managing financial processes and controllership teams including financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and project investment management/ prioritization.

  • Deeply data driven with the ability to work with large data sets

  • Project or Program management experience

  • Operationally hands-on, with a strategic mindset

  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment with transformation at the centre

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint

  • Modelling skills, good command of Tableau and Python is a plus

  • Teamwork and Drive- Role model who quickly establishes rapport and trust to build strong stakeholder relationships

  • Contribute own time to help above beyond own scope of work
