RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet the assigned sales targets of revenue and new merchant accounts

  • Identify the focused verticals and potential merchants and increase our exposure with them so to generate leads and RFP opportunities

  • Work with the Regional Team to cross selling our products and coverage with the existing regional accounts

  • Share knowledge on local market and provide support for the Regional Team to prepare RFP submission

  • Collaborate with the bank and non-bank business partners to increase leads and maximize sign ups from leads

  • Act as project manager to implement different initiatives with merchants such as ECR integration, report customization, eCommerce platform development, etc.

  • Researches and identifies industry and competitor best practices and trends to increase effectiveness and successful rate of sales pitching

  • Understand current and future multi-channel business needs and influence product development and channel strategy

  • Equip with the required product knowledge, business and project management skills to work independently to close the leads

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree preferred. Graduate from Business or Management discipline will be an asset

  • TWO years and above sales experience in the financial services industry

  • Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Putonghua

  • Strong will to win, self-motivated and result oriented

  • Able to perform multi-task and can work under high pressure

  • Excellent selling techniques and inter-personal skills in dealing with both internal and external customers

  • History of sales success in high volume, multi-national environments requiring teamwork, flexibility and change management

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
