Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager

Project & Development Services

What this job involves:

Supporting the team

You will be working side-by-side with the team to ensure the success of mission-critical projects in our dynamic financial institution environment – from initiation through design, construction, and completion. Operating within strict regulatory frameworks while maintaining aggressive timelines, you'll navigate complex stakeholder landscapes across trading floors, executive suites, branch renovations, and technology centers. Projects vary significantly in scope, complexity, and organizational sensitivity, requiring both procedural excellence and strategic problem-solving.

Managing multiple projects concurrently with organizational acumen

Do you thrive on multi-tasking in high-pressure, stakeholder-intensive environments? You'll coordinate multiple concurrent projects while managing competing departmental priorities, regulatory requirements, and executive expectations. Your strategic mindset will be essential when preparing project specifications, procurement strategies, and stakeholder communications. You'll proactively identify potential challenges, build cross-functional partnerships, and deliver innovative solutions within regulatory frameworks – all while ensuring projects stay within budget and timeline parameters.

Sounds like you?

Our successful Project Managers

• Have prior experience in Project Management within financial services, consulting environments, or as contractors in regulated industries

• Engage confidently with senior executives and regulatory bodies while demonstrating keen organizational awareness and stakeholder management skills

• Are results-driven professionals who excel in high-stakes environments and demonstrate strategic navigation of complex organizational dynamics

• Bring a structured, process-driven approach while demonstrating creative problem-solving within compliance constraints

• Communicate proactively, anticipate challenges with solution-oriented approaches, and collaborate to align diverse stakeholder interests

• Thrive under pressure, regulatory scrutiny, and tight deadlines while maintaining strategic awareness and stakeholder relationships

To apply you need to be:

Client-centric problem solver with regulatory expertise

We employ talent from diverse backgrounds, though typically you should have a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or Finance, and/or 3-6 years' experience in complex project management within financial services, consulting, or enterprise environments. Your expertise should span regulatory compliance (SOX, risk management protocols), stakeholder coordination in matrix organizations, and value engineering that balances innovation with institutional requirements. Your ability to quickly assess organizational dynamics while delivering technical solutions will be crucial for managing multinational client requirements and competing internal priorities.

Business savvy and strategically minded

To excel in this role, you need deep understanding of financial services operations and the organizational dynamics that influence decision-making. You'll deliver projects that directly impact trading operations, client services, and regulatory compliance while navigating departmental objectives and executive expectations. Can you manage complex site operations while simultaneously building strategic partnerships across the organization? Your commercial acumen should balance cost, quality, and speed with business owner mentality, while your organizational intelligence helps you anticipate challenges and build consensus around innovative solutions.

A great communicator with executive presence

Do you have the executive presence to lead project teams while commanding respect at senior levels? Can you foster collaboration among stakeholders with diverse interests and priorities? We achieve our biggest successes through strategic relationship building and proactive communication that transforms potential challenges into collaborative opportunities. Your structured, detail-oriented approach must be complemented by the ability to understand organizational dynamics and communicate effectively across all levels. As a digitally-forward financial institution, you'll leverage advanced technology platforms while maintaining the strategic relationships that drive project success in complex organizational environments.
