This role offers a unique opportunity for the product manager to curate a competitive suite of investment offerings. Position Responsibilities:
Product Due Diligence & Product Research
- Responsible for competitive market and product information updates.
 - Conduct product comparisons and pro-actively communicate product positioning and key features and benefits
 - Conduct feedback / focus group sessions with reps
 - Monitor product sales performance
 - Exercise product inventory control to ensure product line is competitive and productive
 - Handle product enquiry from sales force and internal customers
 - Ongoing review of all investment products on the Approved Funds and Investment Products List – prompt action required to react to product, market or legislation changes, and to ensure information is kept up-to-date and accurate
 - Creating and maintaining Recommended List based on different asset classes, sectors and regions to meet clients’ needs
 - Ensuring products on the list meets MFA standards according to agreed standardized procedures
 - Advice on products recommendation and assist reps with FAQ on a timely basis as required
 - To develop and set up essential and/or unique product offerings, which will aid reps in their investment planning recommendations to clients / customers, e.g. Model Portfolios, Fund of Funds
 
Product Launch
- Manage the whole end to end process of product due diligence to product launch
 - To work with providers in developing sales tools for sales force to enhance their knowledge and competency
 
Product Trainings
- Coordinate new product launch trainings
 - Arrange for 3rd party induction training, investment seminars etc as and when required, so as to increase the knowledge, awareness and competency of MFA reps
 
Business Relationships and Provider Onboarding
- Handle partner relationships
 - Sourcing for suitable partners for onboarding to enhance our firm’s value proposition
 - Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding product providers.
 
Special Projects
- Handle projects related to MFA suite of Products eg.. product information, product recommendations, AI Process, etc
 - Support company in ad-hoc projects/initiatives/strategy (e.g. HNW case management process, product bundling)
 
Required Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in relevant discipline and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred
 - Knowledge and understanding of various investment types (e.g. ETFs, Unit Trusts, Bonds) and classes (e.g. Equities, Mixed Assets, Fixed Income) is required
 - Resourceful and analytical
 - Other key attributes include ability to multi-task, good team player, and strong initiative.
 - Sound knowledge of global equity and fixed income markets
 - Undertaken or are interested in additional finance-focused education, such as CFA, CAIA or equivalent
 - Experienced user of mutual fund databases (Morningstar Direct)
