Summary: As a Assistant PR & Influencer Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and executing PR and influencer marketing strategies across the APAC region, with a strong focus on the Korea market.

The role will range from hands-on execution and coordination to more strategic planning, market leadership, and stakeholder management. This position requires a detail-oriented, relationship-driven marketer with a deep understanding of influencer culture, beauty trends, and regional nuances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Influencer & PR Strategy Execution

  • Support or lead the planning and execution of PR and influencer marketing initiatives across APAC, with emphasis on Korea.
  • Assist with or manage influencer gifting, seeding programs, press outreach, and campaign rollouts.
  • Ensure all influencer and PR activities align with brand messaging and campaign objectives.

Influencer & Media Relations

  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, press, retailers, and PR agencies.
  • Coordinate outreach, contracts, deliverables, timelines, and follow-ups.
  • For Manager level: act as a primary point of contact for key influencers, agencies, and regional stakeholders.

Content & Campaign Coordination

  • Review influencer content to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
  • Track deliverables, performance, and posting schedules across campaigns.
  • Support cross-functional coordination with regional and global teams.

Administration, Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain influencer databases, trackers, budgets, and campaign reports.
  • Monitor media coverage, social performance, and influencer engagement.
  • Analyze campaign results and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage purchase orders (POs), invoices, and budget tracking related to PR and Events activities under assigned scope.

Market & Trend Monitoring

  • Stay up to date on beauty, social media, and influencer trends, particularly within the Korean market.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to inform campaign strategy.

Event & Activation Support

  • Lead and manage PR events, press launches, influencer trips, and brand activations as required for Korea market
  • Support cross-market PR and Event activations across other APAC markets when required.

Requirements
  • 4–7+ years of PR and/or influencer marketing experience
  • Prior experience working within a PR agency or managing PR agency relationships is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Fluent in Korean (reading & writing required) and fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated, highly nuanced understanding of Korean culture, consumer behavior, communication styles, and social norms, with the ability to translate cultural insight into effective marketing and PR strategies.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of the Korean influencer and social media landscape, including key platforms, content formats, creator dynamics, and audience engagement patterns.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty ecosystem in Korea, particularly within makeup and fragrance, including trends, key opinion leaders, and competitive landscape.
  • Proven ability to identify culturally relevant influencers, evaluate brand fit, and guide influencer partnerships that resonate authentically with Korean audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to localize messaging accurately and sensitively for the Korean market.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and timelines.
  • Proficiency in influencer management and analytics tools (e.g. Traackr, Tribe Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong relationship-builder with internal teams, external partners, and agency counterparts.
  • Creative, resilient, analytically minded, and a collaborative team player.
