Role Summary

Sitting in the Global Markets Group within the International division, the Assistant Brand Manager supports the development and execution of brand strategies to drive sustainable growth, strengthen brand equity, and deliver commercial targets. The role works cross-functionally with sales, finance, supply chain, agencies, and global teams to execute marketing plans with excellence.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities    

                                                      

Brand Strategy & Planning

  • Support the development and execution of annual brand plans aligned with business objectives via our distributor partners

  • Assist in identifying growth opportunities through consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis

  • Track brand performance against KPIs (sales, market share, distribution, A&P ROI)
     

New Product Development

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Quality, and Packaging teams to deliver projects on time

  • Support packaging development including briefs, artwork coordination, and approval processes

  • Prepare launch readiness materials such as product decks, selling stories, FAQs, and training tools

  • Track NPD timelines, risks, and milestones to ensure on-time market launches

  • Conduct post-launch performance reviews and recommend optimization actions

Marketing Execution

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, e-commerce, and in-store channels

  • Manage product launches and relaunches including timelines, assets, claims, and go-to-market execution with our distributor partners.

  • Coordinate with creative, media, PR, and digital agencies to ensure on-brand, on-time delivery
     

Consumer & Market Insights

  • Analyze consumer, shopper, and category data to inform decisions and optimize campaigns

  • Support consumer research (qualitative and quantitative) including briefs, fieldwork, and analysis

  • Monitor competitive activity and share insights with stakeholders
     

Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales to support sell-in, sell-out, and promotional execution

  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Regulatory to ensure timely product availability and compliance

  • Support e-commerce and omnichannel initiatives where relevant

Education and Experience                                           

  • A college degree (Bachelor’s, preferably with some business focus)
  • Minimum 4-5 years of brand management with an international consumer goods company. NPD experience will be a plus.
  • Experience in digital marketing & eCommerce preferred.
     

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical, agile and good problem-solving skills
  • Solid project management capabilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Good understanding of digital and e-commerce marketing fundamentals
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • The job will be based in Church and Dwight Singapore office and will require occasional (~15%) international travel.
