We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Operations team at Marsh Risk Singapore. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As an Assistant Claims Manager (Property & Casualty) at Marsh Risk Singapore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of property and casualty claims. This role presents a marketable opportunity as it offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients and the chance to work with a highly skilled and collaborative claims team. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills, expand your industry knowledge, and build strong relationships with clients and insurers.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage a portfolio of property and casualty claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Investigate and assess the validity and coverage of claims, analyzing policy terms and conditions
  • Collaborate with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for claims resolution
  • Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes for all parties involved
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, sharing your expertise and best practices
  • Maintain accurate claims records and documentation, adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes related to property and casualty claims
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of claims management strategies

What you need to have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes
  • Familiarity with local insurance regulations and industry best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex claims scenarios
