Job Description
J.P. Morgan Asset Management provides investment management products and services to institutional and individual investors worldwide. It offers a full spectrum of investment strategies-from equity, cash management, fixed income, currency, and asset allocation to alternative asset classes such as private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
As a Vice President / Associate Client Advisor in the Direct and Digital Business Team, you will promote our JP Morgan Investment platform and expand our coverage in the digital distribution channel. You will assist in exploring partnership opportunities with brokers and digital distribution channels, as well as building our active ETF franchise in Hong Kong. You will be dedicated to maintaining a top-notch online platform to facilitate clients in managing their wealth.
The Hong Kong Direct and Digital Sales Business has been offering retail mutual funds and serving mass retail clients for more than three decades.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Achieve business and sales targets, including new client acquisition and asset building, by promoting the business to retail clients.
  • Build and deepen strong partnerships with securities firms/digital platforms and construct a strategic business plan.
  • Communicate proactively with all levels of clients (including gatekeepers, investment consultants, and sales) from various intermediaries and explore sales and other promotional activities.
  • Partner with APAC ETF Specialists to effectively deliver ETF resources to clients, including comparative analytics, capital markets insights, and actionable investment ideas.
  • Maintain the highest standards in business ethics and comply with internal guidelines.
  • Understand and analyze industry developments and translate them into business opportunities.
  • Prepare business reports and handle business agreement-related issues.
  • Work effectively with different internal parties and be able to present on the team's behalf.
  • Be a team player to achieve overall business objectives, i.e., sales targets and other KPIs.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Degree holder.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in ETF sales and marketing, digital investment platforms, or brokerage business.
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of ETF market development and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Client solutions-driven, self-motivated, a team player with a strong desire to excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Experience in client management.
  • Fluency in Mandarin.
  • Qualified to register with SFC to carry on Type 1 regulated activity.
