As a senior Vice President in the Private Wealth Alternatives team, you will spearhead the development and execution of strategies to unlock new assets under management (AUM), foster deep client engagement in partnership with distribution partners, and collaborate with global counterparts to achieve unparalleled success in this rapidly expanding market across North Asia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement strategic plans encompassing client partnership and engagement, demand generation, sales planning, product development, and brand positioning to elevate J.P. Morgan Asset Management's market presence.
- Specialized Knowledge: Serve as the foremost subject matter expert on private markets and Alternatives products, driving the placement and adoption of J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Alternatives offerings.
- Business Development: Formulate and execute business development initiatives alongside sales partners by gaining an in-depth understanding of client needs, strategic objectives, and the competitive landscape to position J.P. Morgan Asset Management as the Alternatives partner of choice.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders, including distribution, investment teams, marketing, and business management, ensuring alignment and accountability to senior management.
- Talent Development: Cultivate and mentor junior talent, fostering a high-performance team culture that aligns with the firm's values and strategic goals.
- Innovation and Efficiency: Leverage data and technology to enhance business development efforts, streamline operations, and achieve operational efficiencies.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proven Experience: 10 years of experience within a financial services company, with a focus on client engagement, distribution, investment and product specialist functions.
- Alternatives Expertise: Extensive knowledge and successful track record in Alternatives, with a deep understanding of product and industry dynamics and experience in fundraising.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and collaborative sales environment, driving innovation and growth.
- Global Perspective: Demonstrated ability to identify and leverage synergies with global counterparts, fostering a cohesive and integrated approach.
- Exceptional Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong communicator and problem solver, capable of navigating complex client needs and aligning processes to deliver exceptional service.
- Client-Centric Approach: A client-focused mindset with the ability to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of financial intermediaries.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- CFA or CAIA certification.
- Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (both written and spoken).
- Language skills in Japanese and Korean are an additional merit.
