Join our team as an Asia Pacific Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) Operations Associate, leading ETF operations and collaborating globally in a vibrant environment.
As an Operations Associate within our Asia Pacific ETF Middle Office team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our ETF business in the region. You will be instrumental in establishing our Asia Pacific ETF operations platform in partnership with external vendors and internal teams both regionally and globally. You'll support the launch of our J.P. Morgan Asia Pacific ETF Funds and be responsible for building out the operating model, while providing \"follow the sun\" support for our Europe-Middle-East-Asia and United States operations to ensure global operational continuity.
Job responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment of the Asia Pacific ETF operations platform, collaborating with service vendors and internal partners to ensure successful implementation
  • Engage with stakeholders to capture and refine business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams, and vendors to design innovative technology solutions that meet business needs and comply with local ETF regulations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications
  • Ensure precise and timely processing of ETF trade transactions and related activities
  • Oversee the publication of the Portfolio Composition File (PCF) to ensure accurate and timely dissemination to relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct thorough checks of valuation files to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards
  • Manage the Transaction Cost Pass Through process, ensuring accurate calculation and allocation of costs and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and maintain compliance
  • Champion ongoing process improvements and technology enhancements
  • Monitor and control daily operations to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on business administration
  • Asia Pacific ETF experience is essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across functions and geographies
  • Highly adaptable, with a proactive approach to embracing challenges and change
  • Proficient communication skills in both English and Mandarin


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
  • Experience in middle office/trade support operations is advantageous
