Job Description
The Asia Reporting & Publishing Team is responsible for creating the documents which represent J.P. Morgan Asset Management's unique brand commitments to clients around the world. The team produces client and marketing documents that articulate the performance analysis and capabilities of investment strategies and funds. This team works closely with our Product, Investment Specialist, Marketing and Client Advisor partners to create, curate and maintain client documents.
As an Associate/ Analyst in the Client Reporting team in Asset Management, you will play a key role in managing complicated client requests. You will take part to develop and implement progressive automation strategy. Also, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and challenges, as well as finding creative and pragmatic solutions and delivering results promptly for our clients. You are also expected to have a good understanding of the local requirements of the industry and clients.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate the book of work from various internal partners including: Marketing, Investment Specialists, Operations, and Client Services into a centralized Center of Excellence for Reporting and Publishing
  • Review and revamp existing process to achieve efficiencies ie Python automation
  • Structure proper documentation on an ongoing basis. Ensure a high and consistent standard of quality deliverables to our clients
  • Partner with key regional stakeholders, including Investment Desks, Technology, Portfolio Analysis Group, Marketing and Operations to drive client satisfaction and a consistent client experience


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Excellent writing skills in Japanese & English; fluent spoken Japanese & English
  • Sensitivity to different cultures and working styles; ability to navigate seamlessly both across countries within APAC, and with the wider global organization
  • Confidence to work directly with stakeholders at all levels
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail; strong numeracy
  • Ability to work under pressure, and with flexibility, to meet tight deadlines
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook skills (intermediate/advanced)
  • University degree


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience with change management
  • High interest in automation
