Job Description
The Taiwan Asset Management (AM) Chief Administrative Officer Office (CAO Office) is responsible to execute high priority initiatives and provide governance over the Taiwan AM business to ensure that the firmwide / regulatory requirements are fulfilled, and that business is operating effectively and efficiently.
As an Associate within the CAO Office, you are required to build close partnership with front, middle, back offices as well as control functions on efforts which are aligned to the business's strategic goals. You will report to Taiwan AM CAO. You will be involved in regional or global projects that impact Taiwan AM business, playing an active role in ensuring local requirements and critical factors are well embedded into the overall project scoping and implementation, while ensuring a win-win outcome and overall success of those projects. You are also responsible to execute administrative-level tasks.
We are looking for an Associate who is self-motivated, can plan and execute projects strategically, efficiently and innovatively. You are required to equip with proficient English writing and speaking skills, a strong sense of confidentiality, and a can-do mindset.

Job responsibilities
- Support Taiwan AM CAO to monitor and remediate risks that have impact to AM business.
- Own the preparation and production of regular reports to relevant governance bodies.
- Work with regional/global stakeholders to execute key business priorities.
- Work with various stakeholders to maintain and update procedures and policies when appropriate.
- Proactively identify and escalate critical issues with a focus on resolution.
- Manage several efforts simultaneously across a range of functions, business and organizational units.
- Work with business stakeholders to help define and drive strategy and execution.
- Identify and bring together the right resources, content experts and decision makers to meet goals.
- Manage effective and efficient communication of projects with senior management and impacted stakeholders.
- Support and conduct clear analysis, logical structuring, and creative problem solving on critical issues; assess risks, costs, and benefits of alternative decisions and approaches.
- Proactively identify and address risks and opportunities relating to the business as a whole or specific projects; proactively propose innovative and actionable solutions to solve business problems and improve operating model.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., strategy consulting, banking, program management)
- Understanding of business and management functions in local Taiwan Asset Management and/or related financial services industries
- Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and dynamically shifting priorities, timelines, and demands
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Equip with high risk & control mindset
- Ability to network with internal stakeholder community to foster positive and proactive collaboration
- Highly proficient in Microsoft (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
