Job Description

As an Architect & Engineering (A&E) Manager, you will be responsible for generating awareness and demand of Axis products within the consultant and specifiers community, to maximize the significant growth potential for network video in the South Asia Pacific (SAP) region.

Working collaboratively with the regional sales team, you will identify, target, and build relationships with key industry consultants—creating market demand and significant interest in Axis solutions.

You will own the responsibility for defining and executing the Axis A&E program in SAP, ensuring the approach and messaging align with the region's broader business objectives.

Travel will be required both within SAP and internationally for key internal meetings, external events and training programs. Approximately 20-25% of time must be spent in India, which is a vital requirement.

This role is based in Singapore.

What You'll Do

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with A&E program members

  • Develop identified focus accounts within A&E

  • Align strategy with APAC Head region and SAP region

  • Build relationships with new consultants in this business area

  • Guide consultants on specifications for Axis network video products

  • Position Axis as a thought leader by educating consultants on industry challenges

  • Maintain regional A&E program database using CRM and Salesforce

  • Train specifiers on Axis design tools to improve system accuracy and business efficiency

  • Represent Axis actively in industry forums and associations

  • Collaborate with global Axis sales teams to develop and implement best practices

  • Align the A&E program with our regional sales activities, building a project pipeline through specification of Axis Products into new projects.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant industry work experience

  • Well acquainted with technology products, IT/security market and its ecosystem

  • Technical knowledge of products and systems is crucial to demonstrate Axis's leadership position in this market

  • Experience working with indirect sales channel and managing multiple stakeholder groups

  • Proven track record in developing and executing business plans that meet or exceed objectives

  • Demonstrates flair for demand creation and innovation in developing new initiatives

  • Build global relationships across our organization

  • Driven, self-motivated and possesses a can-do, positive attitude

  • Possesses strong presentation and articulation skills

  • Takes initiative and thrives in an open, transparent work culture with minimal supervision, while collaborating effectively across Sales, Engineering, Marketing and other virtual teams

  • Capable of addressing both strategic questions and operational challenges

  • Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus

  • Driven, self-motivated and possesses a can-do, positive attitude
