The Applications Engineer will support precision manufacturing companies, implement solutions on-site, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support high-volume precision manufacturing companies in their use of Renishaw’s technologies.
- Collaborate with Renishaw’s local sales and regional application engineers to propose and execute detailed solutions for manufacturing companies.
- Take ownership of implementing these solutions on-site to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in metal cutting.
- Proficiency in Production Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in operating and programming CNC machine tools.
- Knowledge of CNC macro programming.
- Familiarity with CMM programming.
- Experience using relevant Renishaw products, such as Machine Tool probing, CMMs, and Equator is preferred but not necessary.
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis.

- Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and prospects.
