The Opportunity

Business Title: Partner, Diagnostics Solution Support

We are seeking an Application Specialist who will be responsible for providing field technical applications support to the Centralised Diagnostics and Point-of-Care Solutions (CPS) business area. 

  • You are responsible for instrument and application troubleshooting, customer training, instrument commissioning and other matters pertaining to after sales service.

  • You maintain high level of service standard by ensuring service calls are responded to promptly as per customers’ reasonable expectation.

  • You establish and develop good rapport with customers, provide high quality after-sales service in a pro-active manner and this will also involve conducting on/off-site training as well as out-of-office hours and office telephone support.

  • In addition, you escalate and follow-up promptly on unsolved product issues to the global customer support team and communicate all applications issues through regular internal meetings to rectify customers’ issues.

  • You should ideally possess a Degree in Biomedical Science/Chemistry/Biology/Medical Technology or any related field, have at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in hospital setting. Knowledge of laboratory workflow will be an added advantage. 

  • You are customer oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills. A team player, you are able to work with a myriad of people and willing to work outside normal office hours.
