Reports To: Sales Manager - APAC

Job Objective:

We are seeking an Application and Support Engineer to provide technical expertise, support and application for ACS Motion Control products. The role involves working closely with customers, distributors and the sales team to deliver high performance motion solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Support

• To provide technical support to direct customers and indirect customers in coordination with ACS

distributors in the region.

• Conduct Product training and develop customers and distributors technical knowledge and skills

• Perform system setup, tuning and servo optimization at customer sites to ensure optimal

application performance

• Deliver product demonstrations and provide technical pre-sales consultation to support solution

adoption.

• Develop advanced applications and support solution implementation to meet specific customer

requirements.

• Respond promptly to customer technical inquiries to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical / mechatronics engineering or related discipline

• Proper theoretical background in the fields of control theory, electrical drives, motors, digital,

analog, and power electronics.

• Experience in a Field Application Engineer (FAE) or Application Engineer role is preferred.

• Programming skills required (e.g. Python, C/C++)

• 3-5 years of experience with motion and control systems (Familiarity with ACS products

preferred)

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

• Required to travel APAC countries (30%-35%). Able to travel to Israel without VISA issues.

Every year, 1-2 visits at ACS headquarters in Israel.

• Build and maintain proactive relationships with customers and distributors, with a customer focused, solution-oriented approach.

• Fluent in English and Standard Chinese languages (speak, read, write)

• Ability to work independently and manage field assignments.

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
