Job Description

NIQ is seeking a commercially driven Regional Account Director (RAD) to support a portfolio of strategic Global Tech & Durables accounts headquartered across Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. The successful candidate will serve as an APAC regional overlay leader, partnering closely with Global Account Directors and local market teams to accelerate revenue growth, strengthen executive-level client relationships, and drive consistent account execution across the region.

The role will support several of NIQ's most important global clients and a portfolio of Japan-HQ and Taiwan-HQ technology manufacturers. The position requires a strong blend of strategic account management, business development, executive engagement, commercial negotiation, and cross-functional leadership.

Regional Revenue Growth & Commercial Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth across assigned APAC markets through renewals, upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities across NIQ's portfolio, including RMS, Analytics, Consulting, NIQ Next, Digital, and Innovation solutions.
  • Partner with Global Account Directors to develop and execute multi-year account growth strategies.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of regional opportunities and ensure accurate forecasting.

Executive Client Engagement

  • Develop relationships with senior client stakeholders across APAC, including regional headquarters, country leaders, and business unit executives.
  • Lead strategic business reviews, executive meetings, and commercial negotiations.
  • Position NIQ as a trusted business advisor rather than solely a data provider.
  • Support global account planning and executive sponsorship initiatives.

Account Strategy & Coordination

  • Coordinate account activities across multiple countries and functions to ensure a consistent client experience.
  • Align regional teams behind common account objectives and priorities.
  • Ensure strategic account plans are translated into actionable regional growth plans.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Sales, Customer Success, Analytics, Marketing, and Product teams.

Opportunity Development

  • Identify emerging industry trends and client business challenges that create opportunities for NIQ solutions.
  • Lead pursuits for major regional and multi-country deals.
  • Support renewal negotiations and competitive defense strategies.
  • Drive expansion into new categories, business units, and buying centers.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Influence teams across countries without direct reporting authority.
  • Promote best-practice sharing across APAC markets.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to local sales and client service teams on strategic account development.
  • Support organizational initiatives that improve productivity, account coverage, and client outcomes

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 15 years of experience in sales, strategic account management, business development, consulting, market intelligence, or related commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated success managing large regional or global client relationships.
  • Experience working with multinational technology, consumer electronics, durable goods, retail, or FMCG organizations.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Experience working across multiple APAC markets and cultures.
