Job Description
Join our dynamic APAC Fund Services Product team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of fund services for institutional investors. As a Product Associate in the APAC Fund Services Product team, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, client satisfaction, product development and commercialization of the Fund Services Product solutions that J.P. Morgan Securities Services offers to institutional investors in APAC.
The APAC Fund Services Product team support institutional investors across public sector, bank, insurance and asset management segments in region, offering Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Transfer Agency, Complex Asset and Alternative Investment Administrative Services. Based in Hong Kong, you will cover key responsibilities across product management, client engagement, product development and execution as well as control and change management initiative and work in close partnership with a wide range of cross -functional stakeholders in region and globally.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Support new business in APAC markets and represent Fund Services Product in sales pitch, RFP responses, and negotiation of product offering
  • Manage core product definition and change initiative to achieve enhanced capabilities, increase operational efficiency, and propel revenue growth in alignment with the business strategy
  • Assess impact from regulatory developments, changes to industry practice, and trends of client needs to identify product differentiation opportunities
  • Define and execute client change agenda and product development plan through partnership with Product Development, Operation, Technology, and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with regional and global project teams on the implementation of strategic product initiatives and provide regional SME supports as necessary
  • Manage product governance and risk and control environment, including product approvals and develop strong cross functional collaboration with Risk, Legal, Credit and Compliance


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Graduate or Post-Graduate degree 5+ years in custodial industry
  • Hands-on experience with fund accounting and administrative services
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skill
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skill
  • Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams in multiple locations


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Asia local language skill (e.g. Japanese, Korean)
  • Experience with project management
  • Industry recognized professional certification (e.g. CPA, CAIA)
