As an Executive Director in the APAC Equity Syndicate team, you will play a key role in executing and leading equity capital market transactions. You will work closely with clients, sales, trading, and research teams to deliver successful offerings and build strong relationships. Job Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of equity offerings, including IPOs, follow-ons, blocks, and convertible issuances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales, research, and trading teams to analyze market trends and investor feedback.
- Source and identify block trade opportunities through active investor dialogue.
- Partner with equity capital markets and banking teams to originate new deals and support business development.
- Develop and implement pricing and profitability tools to enhance decision-making.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and present transaction updates and market insights to senior management.
- Contribute to process improvements and innovation within the syndicate team.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in equity syndicate, equity capital markets, sales and trading, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior clients and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Proficiency in Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in leading complex equity transactions in APAC markets.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for equity capital market activities.
- Proficiency in Python or data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and innovation.
- Strong understanding of investor dynamics and market trends in APAC.
