Analyst

The incumbent will be supporting our front office team to undertake all the necessary support activities in transaction structuring and execution as well as support the fund management and marketing activities of the fund manager.

Working with senior members of the team, the incumbent will be responsible for:

• Performing various tasks related to fund marketing efforts, assist in preparation of all external investor communication materials and responses to investor requests and questionnaires,
• Preparing pitch books and other marketing materials,
• Preparing internal investment committee memos, market research, monitoring current investments, and new deal origination
• Performing due diligence including, but not limited to, financial and operational analysis, transaction structuring, and industry research on prospective investments

He/ she will also work with Legal and Compliance, Risk, Finance and Treasury functions within the company as appropriate for all ancillary activities in support of the lending business, such as KYC, risk analysis, funding arrangements, financial forecasts etc.

Preferred Knowledge/ Requirements

• Relevant financial experience preferably with a project finance, corporate finance, leverage finance or audit firm background
• Knowledge of leveraged finance and/ or project finance markets and/ or private equity and the middle market lending environment with a strong understanding of credit, leveraged finance markets, and experience analyzing credit agreements
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Organized, motivated and strong prioritization capabilities
• Good team player with ability to demonstrate initiative and work well with minimal supervision and within tight timeframes
• Commendable interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Change and continuous improvement mindset
