Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the accurate daily processing and execution of Treasury Settlement product transactions in a timely manner within MUFG’s set guidelines as well as reviewing transactions processed by other members of the team as a first level check.  Also responsible for supporting other Branches in the Asia & Oceania and East Asia region with the processing of Treasury Settlement transactions.

    

  • Deliver a high quality of service to enhance the function's reputation and meet customer's expectations.
  • Work in partnership with Global Markets where more complex enquiries have been escalated to resolve any unresolved enquiries.
  • Work in partnership with external customers to provide knowledge and guidance on the department’s processes, ensuring that timely responses are maintained and excellent customer service is provided.
  • Work in partnership with Compliance when transactions occur that may be subject to restrictions, including but not limited to, sanctions, MUFG’s standard procedures and local regulations.
  • Ensure the execution of all daily tasks in adherence to Head Office policies, applicable legislation and departmental procedures through accurate and timely input, in accordance to set procedures.                             
  • Review the input and transmission of payments of less experienced members of the team.                                    
  • Support the team heads in executing all daily tasks in adherence to Head Office policies, applicable legislation and departmental procedures through accurate and timely input and verification                                                      
  • Support the team heads in ensuring a high level of customer service is adopted by all members of the team and escalate any unresolved items immediately                                                                                                     
  • Support other branches with their operations and in their management of their daily processing.                       
  • Prepare changes to the operations team’s workflow manual, to ensure it reflects the current workflow and is updated with any changes in sanctions, local regulations, internal standard procedures, for the Team Head to review                                                                                                                                
  • Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation both in Singapore branch and the rest of the region, including but not limited to any system enhancements and work flow efficiency, to mitigate operational risk to the Bank.                                                                                                
  • Provide training to less experience members of the team where required.                                                              
  • Support in managing the risk profile for the department.                                                                                                                      
  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.                          
  • Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.                                                                                           

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in any field
  • No prior experience is required
  • Prior banking experience will be advantageous
  • Strong PC skills (MS Office).                                                                                                
  • Proven experience in Banking Operations, with a good understanding of Treasury products.                                                                                                                           
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others.                                  
  • Understanding of local relevant regulations.
