The Department: Treasury
The Role: Analyst, Treasury Operations
The Analyst, Treasury Operations will support the firm’s day-to-day treasury and cash management activities across APAC. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely movement of customer and corporate funds, monitoring liquidity across local bank accounts, and partnering with internal teams to continuously improve payment processes and the overall customer experience. The Analyst will also support broader Finance initiatives, including work with Financial Controlling and FP&A, as the company continues to scale.
Responsibilities:
- Cash & Liquidity Management
- Monitor daily cash balances across all local bank accounts to ensure sufficient liquidity for payroll, supplier payments, taxes, and operating expenses.
- Execute and coordinate cash pooling, sweeping, and funding transfers in collaboration with the global treasury team.
- Reconcile daily and monthly cash activity and investigate breaks or exceptions in a timely manner.
- Open, maintain, and close local bank accounts, ensuring all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.
- Payment Operations
- Oversee payment execution for suppliers, employees, partners, and other financial obligations.
- Process all inbound and outbound fund flows for customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal controls.
- Support the rollout and optimization of payment products, including integrations with banking partners and internal systems.
- Collaborate with Tech and Project Management teams to automate and enhance operational workflows related to customer and corporate payments.
- Customer & Stakeholder Support
- Respond to customer queries and internal escalations related to payment flows, fund transfers, or banking issues.
- Partner with Customer Support to resolve transaction-related inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Work cross-functionally with APAC Finance teams—including Financial Controlling and FP&A—on tasks related to reporting, forecasting, and month-end processes.
- Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Participate in new product and banking integrations, ensuring operational readiness.
- Assist in streamlining payment, reconciliation, and treasury processes to increase efficiency, control, and scalability.
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years in treasury operations, cash management, finance operations, or payment operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience with APAC banking systems, payment rails, and clearing networks (e.g., SWIFT, FAST, PayNow, GIRO, RTGS, CHATS, JomPAY, FPS, or equivalent regional systems).
- Understanding of local bank account structures, signatory management, and documentation requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
- Experience supporting payment execution, cash positioning, and bank reconciliations for multi-currency and multi-entity environments.
- Familiarity with APAC regulatory and compliance considerations (e.g., KYC, AML, local banking regulations) as they relate to treasury and payment operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across global teams and time zones.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid working environment.
