Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits team. This role is based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

External Client Level Engagement

  • Collaborate with Regional Consultants and Regional Account Managers to foster positive client relationships and ensure stable operational delivery. Understand client needs and requirements, and support strategies that enable the team to provide the expected services.

  • Play an active role in shaping the content for annual strategy planning meetings, focusing on regional benefits priorities for the upcoming year.

  • Engage and participate in client meetings, providing valuable insights on active renewals, status updates, and addressing ad-hoc requests.

  • Ensure that operational processes are executed effectively and efficiently, aligning with client expectations

  • Oversee customer satisfaction by promptly addressing escalations and requests within the required turnaround time (TAT) and service level agreements (SLA).

  • Design, develop, and maintain client management tools that facilitate effective oversight of accounts. 

  • Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with centralized guidelines and adherence to general Service Level Agreements.

  • Implement clients’ ongoing global benefit strategies, including global benefit financing approaches such as pooling, captives, and global insurance programmes. 

Local Level

  • Liaison with local brokers in each market to ensure the Rules of the Road are understood and followed

  • Ongoing tracking and coordination of local broker arrangement: Tracking and reporting will include details of insured benefits by country, renewal outcomes and recent activities, commissions/fees, pooling status, etc.

Regional/Global Level

  • Provision of information to global and regional teams as agreed in the Rules of the Road to facilitate decision making on renewals

  • Monitor and ensuring operational efficiencies working with Centre of Excellence teams to deliver high standards of service

  • Participation in and facilitation of global and regional calls to review the status of current renewals and ongoing initiatives

  • Liaison with multinational pooling network partners to obtain pooling exhibits as appropriate and to ensure understanding and execution of the pooling strategy

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Health & Benefits sector, insurance domain or outsourcing services

  • Strong project management and operational skills – able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple countries, with proficiency in additional languages being an advantage

  • Ability to work within a team environment across borders & manage internal stakeholders.

  • Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations

  • Strong analytical skills, with the capability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate data insights

  • Strong self-starter, fast learner, quality conscious, committed to deadlines

  • Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Successful candidates will need to complete MAS broking license in Singapore.
