Responsibilities

1. Desktop and End-User Support

Provide support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, business applications, network and end-user devices (laptops, etc), working with third party vendors when required.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and identity management systems.
Contribute to process improvements and guide end-users on corporate procedures, IT best practices and new technologies.

2. Infrastructure Support

Work with global IT teams on the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of local IT infrastructure and networks.
Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate global teams as necessary and provide on-site support through issue resolution.

3. Compliance and Audit

Ensure adherence to corporate IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations and support activities.
Respond to audit requests and address any gaps in compliance.

4. Collaboration and Communication

Be the main IT point of contact between overseas IT teams and the Singapore office, ensuring alignment with global IT initiatives and coordinating update/support efforts.
Train and guide end-users on IT best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

Proven experience in IT support including desktop, infrastructure and application support.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
Basic understanding of IT security practices and networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches and routers).
Excellent problem-solving, organizing, multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Flexibility to work occasionally outside regular working hours.
Have a warm, well-spoken, good attitude, flexibility and service-orientated personality.
