Job Description
Responsibilities
- Greet and guide customers to their tables and assist them in seating
- Manage a waiting list and seating chart
- Print special occasion menu and set up table accordingly
- Check table arrangement before and during service, ensuring table requests are met whenever possible
- Anticipate customers needs and to be aware of all customers' requests
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Coordinate with bartenders to serve beverages and ensure that alcoholic beverages are served responsibly and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Upsell and promote menu items and special promotions to maximize revenue.
- Set up dining tables with appropriate utensils, glassware, and condiments before guests' arrival.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations and dining areas.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations an exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to address any issues or special requests from guests.
Job Requirements
- No experience needed. Training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent team player and friendly individual.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
