Job Responsibilities:
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in assembly process development and manufacturing engineering
  • Proven experience in launching new assembly lines in a high-volume automotive or similar manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of assembly methods, error-proofing, tooling, ergonomics, and process flow design
  • Familiarity with APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, and other automotive quality standards
  • Comfortable working with CAD and process planning tools (e.g., layouts, simulations, line balancing)
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for equipment buy-offs, supplier meetings, and on-site launch support
