AECOM is seeking a motivated and technically strong Acoustic Consultant / Executive Consultant to join our growing Acoustics and Audiovisual team in Singapore. The role will support a wide range of projects across transportation, buildings, environmental noise, industrial developments, and advanced acoustic modelling studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform environmental, architectural, and building acoustics assessments
• Undertake acoustic and vibration modelling using industry software and numerical methods
• Support noise and vibration impact assessments, monitoring, and mitigation design
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and client presentations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders
• Support project delivery across Singapore and regional projects

Candidates with experience or academic background in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for acoustics and vibration
• Boundary Element Method (BEM) acoustic simulations
• Structural dynamics and vibroacoustic analysis
• Acoustic metamaterials / advanced acoustic modelling
• Programming or scripting experience (Python / MATLAB) is advantageous

Requirements

• Degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in acoustics, noise, vibration, or related consultancy work
• Familiarity with acoustic modelling software such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, Odeon, INSUL, COMSOL, ACTRAN, LMS Virtual.Lab, or equivalent
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
