About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Manager to join our Accounting Operations team in Singapore. This outstanding opportunity allows you to be part of a growing team that is passionate about implementing processes, driving continuous improvement and delivering results!
The Accounting Operations team is a group of functional teams that perform fund operational processes on a centralized basis for all funds using a consistent, standardized approach. The Manager is responsible for leading fund operations, reporting and team supervision for diverse funds and separately managed accounts.

Possesses strong technical accounting skills related to private equity

Demonstrates proven ability in training, managing, empowering, and leading a team
Is passionate about providing timely, accurate accounting and reporting while managing multiple fund programs and accounts
Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Work independently while managing the priorities of the team
Exhibits a strong focus on customer service by promptly addressing request from both internal and external collaborators in various time zones
What you will do:
Develop expertise in all functional areas, understanding both the depth (knowledge of process) and breadth (knowledge of fund-specific characteristics) and how they impact the process
Lead day to day fund accounting operations, including client servicing
Coordinate team members’ priorities to ensure timely reporting to stakeholders
Coordinate and review work product of team members to ensure accuracy of work
Train team members regarding technical requirements of each fund/account as well as processes
Prepare analysis for various internal and external requests
Handle other ad-hoc responsibilities as required
What you bring:
Strong technical private equity accounting knowledge, including concepts around partnership accounting, management fees, expense allocation, equity allocations and waterfalls
Strong knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS
Experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
Proven experience and ability to coordinate self as well as prioritize other team members’ work
Supervisory skills with experience in leading a team for 3-4 years
Experienced with implementing processes and collaborating across multiple time zones
Strong digital literacy (Microsoft Office) with a willingness to learn new systems and applications
Working knowledge of Efront and Great Plains highly desirable, or other Private Equity accounting software a plus
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree – Finance, Economics or Accounting or a related field required (CPA a plus)
Work Experience
8-10 years of relevant experience in private equity accounting and operations a plus
