Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Account Manager to support and grow key accounts as part of our company’s expansion in IT staffing and workforce solutions. Reporting to the Business Unit Owner, this role focuses on account growth, client delivery, and execution of business development initiatives.
The Account Manager will work closely with the Business Unit Owner to expand existing accounts, support new opportunities, and deliver high-quality recruitment solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where experimentation and growth are encouraged. This role offers strong exposure to enterprise and government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Business Development Support
- Support the Business Unit Owner in developing and implementing business strategies to penetrate key accounts, with a strong focus on government and enterprise clients.
- Leverage an established network to rapidly scale the business, identify and secure new opportunities—including tenders, managed services, and large-scale staffing projects.
- Manage and grow assigned client accounts by understanding hiring needs and delivering timely, effective staffing solutions.
- Demonstrate strong BD experience in managed services: building pipelines, finding leads, closing deals within planned timelines.
- Support pipeline development activities such as lead follow-ups, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
- Coordinate and deliver mass recruitment projects across technology roles, ensuring quality, speed, and scalability.
- Build and sustain long-term client partnerships by deeply understanding hiring challenges and delivering tailored, high-impact solutions.
Technology & Industry Expertise
- Bring extensive experience in the public sector, with proven success in winning and executing projects.
- Drive offshore development centre / offshore services initiatives to support large-scale client delivery.
- Provide expertise in facilities management (FM), infrastructure, and cloud services, ensuring solutions align with client needs.
- Stay updated on IT and Cloud industry trends to anticipate client hiring needs and support future workforce planning.
Entrepreneurship & Leadership
- Work closely with recruiters and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution of staffing engagements.
- Support the refinement of recruitment processes, frameworks, and delivery models to enable sustainable growth.
- Take a proactive, hands-on approach to recruitment, ensuring efficiency while continuously refining talent acquisition strategies.
- Build and sustain a scalable talent pipeline for permanent, contract, and on-demand hiring models.
- Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices while maintaining agility in operations.
- Cultivate strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment cycle, ensuring a seamless experience and long-term engagement.
- Support consultative recruitment solutions such as RPO, contract staffing, and managed services engagements.
- Bonus: Leverage an existing database of customer and candidate contacts to accelerate business development and recruitment.
Requirements
- Background in recruitment, preferably within the IT services industry, with experience supporting IT recruitment activities.
- Experience in outsourcing, headhunting, or managed services is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and exposure to tenders or large-scale staffing projects, with the ability to support business development efforts.
- Experience managing or supporting client accounts, recruitment delivery, or project execution within a recruitment or staffing environment.
- Track record in public sector engagements, offshore development centres, and FM (Infrastructure / Cloud) staffing.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—eager to build, scale, and push boundaries, with a keen sense of opportunity and innovation.
- Proactive, hands-on problem solver who is adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
