The Account Manager is the link between the client and the agency to ensure the client is represented accurately and the agency’s capabilities are demonstrated. You will be responsible for implementing and achieving the client’s tactical marketing plan. This role will be working closely with internal team members and external client personnel to devise campaigns plans and tactics. Integral responsibilities include the day to day running of the account, demonstrate strategic potential and insight, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the client’s business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the client team to create an implementation plan to achieve the client’s campaign objectives

  • Write creative briefs in line with the client’s campaign objectives, identify key project outcomes and gain client approval

  • Keep up to date with each campaigns project and financial status to manage the client’s needs, deliverables and expectations

  • Act as the main point of contact for managing questions, challenges and project feedback

  • Ensure accuracy of monthly billing and expenses, manage quarterly reconciliations and forecasting, alert management of budgetary issues or concerns

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Previous experience with FMCG or fast retail clients

  • Attention to detail with good time management and organisational skills

  • 3-6 years previous experience of working in an agency is essential

  • Successful track record of project management to secure sales and achieve sales targets

Success in this role requires sound knowledge of the FMCG or fast retail industries, and an understanding of Tag products and services. The Account Manager will need to be a multi-tasker, be able to use their initiative, and have a problem-solving attitude. This is a role for team player who can also be relied on to operate independently and remain focused under pressure.
