Accountabilities of An Account Manager:
- Develop strong relationships with key customers.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to manage and grow key accounts.
- Drive client engagements to ensure IQVIA receive all RFPs from client organizations.
- Generate new leads through networking and cold calling.
- Responsible for leading client engagements, contracts, & more
- Use data analysis to identify what worked, what could be improved and incorporate into your account planning.
- Use CRM tools to track interactions, sales, and account history.
- Ensure project deliverables are delivered on time and meet customer requirements.
- Set up key performance indicators (KPIs) and track key account metrics.
- Collaborate internally to achieve sustainable growth and development.
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of eight (8) years relevant sales or account management experience.
- Knowledge of IMS offerings, customer account management and pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Additional key attribute preferred:
- Problem solving, negotiation, planning, relationship building, relationship management, presentation, good written and oral communication skills, business acumen are essential.
- Analytical background is preferred.
- Proactive/ have a positive attitude.
