We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, and relationship-driven Account Manager to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will be the primary bridge between TOKEN2049 and our high-profile global sponsors, ensuring their event experience is seamless, impactful, and primed for renewal.
The RoleAs an Account Manager within the BD team, you aren't just managing contracts—you are managing relationships with the biggest names in Web3 (L1/L2 blockchains, exchanges, VC firms, and tech providers). You will take the reins the moment a sponsorship deal is closed, acting as the dedicated partner to guide sponsors from onboarding through to live event execution and post-event reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesSponsor Onboarding & Success: Serve as the main point of contact for confirmed sponsors, guiding them through deliverables, deadlines, and event logistics.
Relationship Management: Build deep, trusted relationships with clients to understand their marketing and business goals, ensuring TOKEN2049 helps them achieve them.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure all sponsored booths, branding, speaking slots, and side-events are executed flawlessly.
Upselling & Upgrades: Identify opportunities to upsell existing clients on additional branding packages, VIP experiences, or side-event partnerships leading up to the event.
Retention & Renewals: Lead the post-event wrap-up process, providing sponsors with ROI data, collecting feedback, and securing early re-bookings for future global editions.
Problem Solving: Act as the frontline troubleshooter for sponsor inquiries and on-site requests during the intense build-up and live days of the conference.

Experienced: 3–5 years of experience in Account Manager, Client Success, or B2B Event Partnerships roles (experience in tech, fintech, or Web3 is highly preferred).
Web3 Fluent: You have a solid grasp of the crypto ecosystem, major industry players, and current market trends. You don't need to be a developer, but you must know your DeFi from your DePIN.
Hyper-Organized: You can juggle dozens of accounts simultaneously without letting a single deadline or deliverable slip through the cracks.
Master Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can handle difficult conversations gracefully and present to C-level executives with confidence.
Resilient: You stay calm, cool, and collected under the pressure of live event environments and tight deadlines.
