This Position reports to:

Global Segment Manager-Semi-conductor


 

Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Leading the development and implementation of the worldwide account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.
  • Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.
  • Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer.
  • Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Seasoned professional with a master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of electrification portfolio, with relevant experience in customer interaction deep comprehension of relevant stakeholders’ network map and a value base selling approach.
  • Solid experience in the sector
  • Proven ability to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions, strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen to create a business aligned strategy.
  • A strategic thinker with a record of executing change in an international organization. Results oriented execution mindset.
  • Strong skills in communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs as well as managing ambiguity.
  • High energy team player with multi-cultural skills, able to influence effectively in a decentralized, multi-cultural, cross functional matrix and global environment
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.
