Reporting to the Country Manager, the Account Executive will be based in Singapore and manage sales and relationships with existing and new Genetec customers (Certified System Integrators), technology partners, consultants, and end users in the assigned territory. The main role is to increase revenues and ensure regular communication with the APAC team and corporate office in Montreal, Canada. 

What your day will look like:

  • Support Regional sales managers to develop the assigned sales territory for company products 
  • Discover and track opportunities, follow up and distribute leads to partners 
  • Meet Country Manager sales objectives by building pipeline, preparing forecasts, budgets, analyzing variances and initiating corrective differentiation 
  • Facilitate between internal team and partners through the entire onboarding process 
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Country Managers on leads assignment, overseeing deal progression with partners 
  • Visit Customers/partners/consultants at their premises 
  • Manage forecasts and achieve quotas 
  • Identify customer needs, respond to RFIs, RFQs, prepare quotes and write proposals 
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication with Customers and MRs 
  • Monitor and report satisfaction levels from customers, integrators, consultants 
  • Coordinate customer, integrator, consultant training 
  • Update and maintain data in CRM or other applications 
  • Acquire, maintain, and report adequate knowledge of product, market, and competition 
  • Stay abreast of the products, applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services 

About you:

  • 6+ years experience in Security Industry with VMS and Access Control, CCTV 
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience 
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience doing client demonstrations 
  • Proven sales achievement / track record within technology sales 
  • Attention to detail and process oriented 
  • Able to work independently within a team environment 
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office 
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely 
  • Bilingual communication is an asset 

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a complex sales environment 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Experience in the security industry with ability to maintain contacts at different levels 
  • Must have strong time management skills and be a multitasker 
  • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers, integrators, consultants 
  • Able to work independently, within a team environment 
  • IP technology understanding and networking expertise will be considered an asset
