As an Account Executive at Profound, you'll manage the sales cycle for agency partnerships, focusing on developing relationships and strategic outreach in the AI space.
The summary above was generated by AI

Profound is the marketing platform for the age of AI search. The way brands reach people is being rewritten — AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode are now the answer layer between companies and their customers. We built the platform marketers use to understand, measure, and win in that world: the analytics, intelligence, and agent automation that turn AI search from a threat into a competitive advantage.

We went from 0 to a $1B valuation in 18 months. Revenue grew 100x last year. Our customers include 15% of the Fortune 500 like Walmart, Wayfair and U.S. Bank, and innovators like Ramp, MongoDB, and Figma. We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.

As an Account Executive focused on agencies, you will own the sales cycle with creative, media, and digital agencies that help the world’s biggest brands shape their use of AI. You will play a key role in expanding Profound’s agency partnerships, helping agencies manage, measure, and govern how AI shows up across their client work, operations, and campaigns.

What you’ll do
  • Own the full agency sales cycle, from targeted prospecting through negotiation and close, across creative, media, and brand network agencies

  • Develop and execute strategic outreach and relationship-building with agency leaders, innovation teams, and holding company partners

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships that position Profound as an essential part of agencies’ AI and brand safety strategies

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, and Product to refine positioning, identify key use cases, and scale adoption across networks

  • Help build our agency sales team, shaping our go-to-market motion, playbooks, and partnership approach as we expand

Who you are
  • A proven SaaS closer with experience selling into agencies, holding companies, or adjacent partner ecosystems such as creative, marketing, or technology

  • Deeply familiar with the agency landscape and how agencies buy, partner, and drive value for brand clients

  • Skilled in consultative sales and able to connect emerging technology to real business impact across creative, media, and client success functions

  • Entrepreneurial and relationship-driven, energized by expanding a growing go-to-market motion and building trusted partnerships in a dynamic space

  • Strategic, resilient, and motivated by the opportunity to represent a category-defining product at the intersection of AI, brand safety, and innovation

Location

This is an on-site role based in our NYC, SF, London, or Singapore office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $110,000 to $150,000 before commission (NYC and SF). Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks.
