About this team:
As an Account Director on the APAC Demand Team, you’ll be responsible for managing some of the region's key customer relationships. You will deliver outstanding, industry-leading client service to mid to senior level POCs, ensuring client happiness as determined by peer & client feedback. You will be expected to demonstrate ownership of your book of business, understanding your clients business goals and requirements innately and navigate internally to deliver on these.
This is a position based in Beijing, reporting directly to the Manager, AM APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of mobile advertisers, launching their campaigns, defining their strategies, upselling, and aligning internal resources to execute their goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Analytics, Creative, Product, and Operations) to deliver best-in-class support and campaign optimization, facilitating growth across internal and external objectives
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align the customer’s business objectives with the company’s product / service capabilities.
- Demonstrate fluency in analyzing and leveraging complex datasets to drive account growth and performance improvements.
- Forecast revenue and manage a healthy pipeline of both existing and prospective clients.
- Strong relationships with mid level POCs to senior director levels; Introductory relationships with higher level stakeholders
- Strong level of understanding of adtech and digital performance ecosystem; consulting clients on the right strategy to meet their goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 7-10+ years of work experience. Minimum 5-7 years of account management or enterprise sales experience - preferably in ad tech, mobile marketing, gaming, e-commerce, or digital consulting.
- Proven track record of managing a revenue quota and delivering against performance goals.

- Comfortable with cross-team collaboration and project management.
- An understanding of the mobile app and/or digital media ecosystem
- Ability to extract and clearly communicate insights from complex data sets. Excel proficiency required. Experience with enterprise level tools such as Tableau, Looker, Salesforce are a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset—comfortable working with data, extracting insights, and building client-facing narratives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to craft and deliver compelling executive briefings and account reviews.
- Excellent communicator who can present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and excited to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness for business travel as required - both domestically within China and internationally.
- Proficiency in Native Mandarin and Business-level English.
Location:
We prefer this role to work from our Beijing office (Guomao) at least 2-3 days/week.
Travel Expectations:

Compensation:
Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on the candidate's location and experience.
The annual pay range for this position in Beijing is: OTE (base + variable) of 565,000 - 665,000 RMB.
