Job Description

Your opportunity: Restructuring

Applications are now open to join our Restructuring team for the 2026 Graduate Program intake.

Companies in financial distress engage KordaMentha to urgently restructure and stabilise their businesses, protecting not only monetary value at risk but also their reputation and social licence, and those of their key stakeholders. Our Restructuring group has managed many of the most complex corporate and government restructures in the Asia-Pacific region. Our notable projects include appointments over Tokenize Exchange, Liberty House Group, Zipmex, Robinsons & Company, Pertamina Energy Services and FTX Australia.  

Working alongside our Restructuring specialists, this is your opportunity to learn how we look beyond the numbers, taking bold and creative steps to protect and recover value, providing stability and direction in times of crisis. Under expert mentorship, you will gain valuable experience across independent business reviews, cash flow monitoring and forecasting, turnaround, financial and strategic advisory and formal insolvency appointments. Make a real impact as, together, we solve our clients most pressing transactional and commercial challenges.

What you’ll be doing

When working with our restructuring team, you’ll get to work in project teams to manage some of the largest and most complex corporate restructures, turnaround advisories, receiverships, and liquidations in the Asia Pacific and can expect to:

  • work onsite to assist the team with the day to day running of distressed business 
  • assist in the analysis of financial, operational and commercial information to assess business performance
  • manage creditor enquires and process receipts and payments     
  • help to meet statutory obligations for formal appointments  
  • assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and client deliverables
  • attend meetings with clients and key stakeholders to help understand key points of distress.

Qualifications

About you

You will be a recent graduate or student in your final year of study and will have: 

  • Completed or completing an Accounting, Commerce or Business degree 
  • The ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as critical thinking 
  • Be highly competent in using MS Excel and other MS Office applications 
  • A resilient and collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Be motivated and prepared to deliver the highest standards of client service 
  • An interest to contribute to and participate in marketing initiatives and business development activities 
  • Be a Singapore citizen or Permanent resident (not require a work visa or employment pass) 
  • Previous experience in a client facing consultancy role is preferred
